Admiral DiagnosticsDesk — Android diagnostics and self-help companion application

App Name Admiral DiagnosticsDesk
Package Name com.admiralerp.diagnosticsdesk
Developer / Operator TDS Infra Estate Developers Private Limited
Effective / Last Updated 29 August 2026
Privacy-first design: Admiral DiagnosticsDesk is a launcher-less companion utility used to check the technical readiness of supported Admiral Android applications. Diagnostics run only when the user asks a supported Admiral app to run them. The current application does not create a user account, does not show advertisements, does not use advertising or analytics SDKs, does not continuously monitor the device in the background, and does not intentionally collect business, financial, salary, attendance-photo, password, PIN, or login-token data.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Admiral DiagnosticsDesk accesses, processes, uses, stores, and protects information when the application is used. The app is designed as a technical diagnostics and self-help companion for supported Admiral applications, such as Admiral WorkDesk and other approved Admiral apps.

Admiral DiagnosticsDesk is not a surveillance application and is not intended to extract business or personal records from other apps. Its purpose is limited to technical readiness checks, troubleshooting, and user-directed self-help.

2. How the App Is Started

Admiral DiagnosticsDesk does not provide a normal launcher icon or a public home screen. A supported Admiral application launches it when the user selects an option such as Run Diagnostics.

The launching app may provide only limited technical routing values, such as:

These values are used only to identify the supported Admiral app and select the correct diagnostics flow.

3. Information Accessed for Diagnostics

3.1 Supported App Information

The app may access limited technical information about the supported target Admiral app, including:

Admiral DiagnosticsDesk does not request broad visibility of all applications installed on the device. Package visibility is restricted to explicitly supported Admiral packages and required platform components such as Google Play.

3.2 Device and System Readiness Information

The app may access technical device information needed to explain whether the target app can operate reliably, including:

3.3 Network and Connectivity Information

For connectivity diagnostics, the app may access:

Network information is used to explain connectivity quality and troubleshoot supported Admiral app access. The app does not read browsing history or network traffic content.

3.4 Optional Secure Diagnostics Bridge

Some supported Admiral apps may, in a compatible version, expose a secure diagnostics interface that provides limited technical status needed for app-specific troubleshooting. Examples may include whether a required permission is ready, whether a technical sync queue is pending, or whether an app-specific background function is ready.

Such a bridge is designed to expose only diagnostic status. It must not expose passwords, login tokens, PINs, bank details, salary records, attendance photos, employee personal records, or detailed location history to Admiral DiagnosticsDesk.

4. Sensitive Permissions and Data Not Accessed Directly

The current DiagnosticsDesk application itself does not request or directly use Android runtime permissions for:

If a supported target app needs one of these permissions, DiagnosticsDesk may explain its technical status or open the relevant Android settings page, but it does not silently grant or use the permission on behalf of the target app.

5. Android Permissions Used by DiagnosticsDesk

Internet Used for user-requested connectivity or server-health checks and for opening official online resources where applicable.
Access Network State Used to determine connection availability, transport type, validation, VPN presence, and metered status.

The app does not request QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES. It uses limited Android package visibility declarations only for approved supported apps and required platform packages.

6. How Information Is Used

Technical information is used only for purposes such as:

7. Data Collection and Transmission

Most diagnostics are processed locally on the device. The current design does not create a server-side history of the complete diagnostics report and does not upload the complete report automatically.

When a server-reachability, latency, or similar network check is performed, the destination server necessarily receives normal network connection information such as the request and source IP address as part of standard Internet communication. Such requests are intended to contain only technical health information and not passwords, login tokens, business records, or other sensitive payloads.

Standard infrastructure/security logs may be generated by servers as part of normal operation. Where such logs exist, they are used for system reliability and security and are handled under company infrastructure and legal retention requirements.

8. Local Storage and Retention

Admiral DiagnosticsDesk may store small application preferences locally, such as the selected language. Temporary diagnostic values may remain in memory while a diagnostics session is open.

The app does not maintain a local database of employee personal data or a permanent history of diagnostics results in its current design. Local application preferences can be removed by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.

9. Account Creation and Account Deletion

Admiral DiagnosticsDesk does not allow users to create a standalone account and does not maintain a separate DiagnosticsDesk user account. Therefore, there is no DiagnosticsDesk account-deletion workflow.

If a future version introduces account creation or stores user-specific server data, this Privacy Policy and the Google Play Data Safety information will be updated and any required deletion controls will be provided before that feature is released.

10. Data Sharing and Sale

Admiral DiagnosticsDesk does not sell or rent user data. It does not use diagnostic information for advertising, behavioural profiling, credit decisions, or marketing.

Technical information may be processed only by:

11. Third-Party Services

The app may interact with Android operating-system services and Google Play for platform functionality such as checking Google Play availability or opening an official Play Store listing. These platform services operate according to their own terms and privacy policies.

The current DiagnosticsDesk design does not include advertising SDKs or third-party behavioural analytics SDKs.

12. Security Measures

Admiral DiagnosticsDesk is designed with safeguards including:

13. User Choices and Control

Diagnostics run only when initiated from a supported Admiral application or when the user explicitly asks to re-check the diagnostics screen. The app does not continuously run speed tests or continuously monitor the device in the background.

Users may close DiagnosticsDesk at any time. Android settings opened by a Fix action remain under the user's control, and DiagnosticsDesk does not claim an issue is fixed until a later re-check confirms the state.

14. Children's Privacy

Admiral DiagnosticsDesk is an enterprise/business technical utility and is not directed to children. It is intended for users of supported Admiral business applications.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when DiagnosticsDesk features, supported diagnostics, security controls, legal requirements, or data practices change. The effective/last-updated date shown at the top of this page will be revised when material changes are made.

Important: This Privacy Policy should be kept consistent with the actual production APK/AAB and the Google Play Data Safety declaration. If a future release adds analytics, server-side diagnostic history, new sensitive permissions, account creation, or additional data sharing, both this policy and the Play Console declarations must be updated before release.
